This is my forth Nathan McBride book starting with Forced to Kill back in 2011. I have rated all the books B or higher, which is a high standard few other writers have received.
The ending was well written, a page burner as they say in the trade, and the location was well described and I could visualize the village and location. The buddy team of Nathan and Harv, is like a couple of old friends I look forward to visiting with each year when a new book is published. I also like that Andrew has not gone all feminist as is the case for many action story authors, even with the page of complements for the female helicopter pilot which seemed force fit into the story. I know it is tempting to give into the social pressure of today, but I have to believe many woman as well as men would like a story about men in action without having to meet some social engineering criteria which seems to becoming the norm.

Next in the Series
By Wayne Thornton
Let me say at the outset, I really enjoy this series and the development of the characters. This story was still good, but not up to the pace and suspense of the previous three. I also found myself constantly distracted by the author's continual use of the phrase "took a knee". Surely some variety about describing how a person kneels down, please! That aside, the author sets a good scene and tells a good story. I don't think I learnt anything new, but nor did a feel I was just "filling in time" reading. I look forward to the next instalment.

If you liked the first three, this one should satisfy
By Phil J
Same writing style as the first three. One item that is a little trying is needing several paragraphs to convey about two seconds of thought. Also, I liked this one less since it took place outside the US. On the plus side, Harv was back in this one.
